Shape the user interface and experience of our next generation of applications while working side-by-side with our talented development team.
Are you passionate about elegance and efficiency of user experience? Do you have the UI and graphic design skills needed to make beautiful native and web applications? Do you want to help design applications that will be used by your healthcare providers worldwide? We need skilled UI designers like you to help us build new applications and frameworks.
You will:
• Help design and build a sophisticated web application and the framework components
• Work with several teams to build new application user experiences and add polish to existing applications
• Create and own CSS/HTML for multiple development teams
• Work with other designers to help identify and document UI/UX standards and patterns
• Rapidly build mockups and storyboards to communicate ideas

Requirements
- Demonstrated UI/UX Design skills
- Mastery of CSS/HTML. You can craft a beautiful website and create the CSS styles and markup for web applications
- Skilled in common Designer tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- This is not a coding role, but some JavaScript experience (and other tools, such as ActionScript, Silverlight, etc.) to demonstrate concepts and ideas preferred
- Ability to rapidly build a prototype by creating mockups and samples to demonstrate ideas and concepts
- User centered -- talk to users, gather requirements, collaborate with development to build solutions that meet user's needs
- Understand and demonstrate common design patterns and modern techniques
- Ability to communicate clearly and speak geek from time to time
- Ability to create icons and imagery needed by applications
- You wish the Comic Sans Serif font would be banned
- Bachelor's degree in digital or graphic design, human-computer interaction, interactive media, or a related field
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
