Position Summary

Do you have a passion for programming and enjoy teaching others? As a Technical Trainer at Epic, you will have the opportunity to use your programming, public speaking, and people skills to teach our staff and customers. You will have the crucial role of enhancing our employees' programming abilities and providing them with the foundation they need to be successful. You will also work with our customers to give them the programming knowledge necessary to get the most out of their Epic software. You will be part of a small, close-knit team of trainers who share your interest in both technical and people-oriented work. You will meet new people every week from a variety of backgrounds, as well as participate in group projects and develop custom solutions for common training tasks. If you love social interaction, helping others, and digging into technical problems to find solutions, being a Technical Trainer at Epic is the career for you.

We look for a strong record of academic and professional success. Because we train internally, no prior teaching experience is necessary. Programming knowledge is required.

Requirements

• BS or BA in computer science, engineering, math, physics, or other hard science
  
• Minimum of a 3.2 cumulative GPA
  
• Strong programming and communication skills
  
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  
• Willing to relocate to Madison, Wisconsin (relocation expenses are covered)
