Epic is a national leader in software development for healthcare systems. We create and implement a wide range of integrated software for many of the largest healthcare organizations in the country. Our software improves patient care and reduces costs. Over the last 15 years we have seen steady growth, and currently, organizations using our software care for about 140 million people across the United States. That means that 1 in 3 people in the U.S. are directly affected by the work we do.
Beyond all of that Epic is an exciting, innovative place to work.
As our client base expands, we rely on our Server Systems Engineers to guide our customers through the creation and maintenance of their Caché-based database environments that are at the core of Epic's infrastructure. The goal of the Server Systems team is to maximize availability and optimize performance of the systems for our customers.
As a Server Systems Engineer, you'll engage in server- and storage-related infrastructure planning as well as support the database for customers on a variety of platforms, including mainstream UNIX, OpenVMS, and Microsoft Windows. You will also be involved in the development of monitoring tools, utility scripts, and scalability testing of new server and storage architectures.
