What do you like about working at Epic?

I enjoy the work environment. Nearly all of the accommodations are provided to increase productivity. I also enjoy the drive that all of my coworkers share. Everyone is on board with the plan and will do anything to get the job done well.

What are the projects you've worked on and what role did you play?

I've helped with the design of some pretty large projects that have taken years to move from an idea to a functioning product. It's exciting and satisfying to experience that progression.

What results have you achieved for our customers and for you?

primarily work in the development cycle for our products. Often, I'm provided the opportunity to travel to an organization or hospital on immersion trips. I really enjoy these trips, which benefit both the customer (in helping end-users with guidance as they begin using the software) and me (in becoming attuned to the workflows of a hospital).

What's your favorite project to date at Epic?

To date, my favorite project at Epic has been working to Internationalize our products. This large and complex project has taken Epic in a direction that was impossible before our work began.

What interests do you have outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy tinkering with anything that has a power plug or a battery. I also enjoy cross country skiing throughout the Wisconsin winters.
