What do you like about working at Epic? What is life like at Epic?

There's a lot to like. My top three: 1) You can go home every day knowing that the work you do is making the world a better place; 2) You're surrounded by extremely bright, forward-thinking people, and it makes you smarter; 3) It's amazing how quickly you can make a significant impact.

What are the projects you've worked on and what role did you play?

I've trained our software since I started, but I've worked on a number of other interesting, high-impact projects as well. A couple of the most significant ones: I helped write the first cross-application starter set user training program for our customers. Based on those training materials, we created a new role at Epic to implement the materials at customer sites.

What's your favorite project to date at Epic?

My favorite project so far is doing my current job, working with customer training managers to help them create great user training programs. It's my chance to make life better for not just the thousands of people who will use Epic software, but also for the patients they care for.

What are you passionate about?

I'm passionate about making things better, both in my professional and personal life. I don't want to be average. I want to be great.

What interests do you have outside of work?

Reading, growing things (veggies and flowering plants), and home brewing.
