What do you like about working at Epic?

The freedom is great! The coffee is plentiful. I'm working with smart and dynamic people who make it fun to be here. Every day is different, and my only limitation is how much I want to challenge myself.

What are the projects you've worked on and what role did you play?

Whew! I have worked on a lot of projects since coming to Epic. To name a few: I've tested complex ordering projects, I've managed close to 50 people at one time or another, I've dabbled in writing release notes so I could use my MA degree, I've orchestrated significant changes to our quality management system, and I'm pretty sure I have consumed the most lattes per diem. I'm always headed in a new direction.

What results have you achieved for our customers and for you?

I'm raising the quality bar to make life easier for our customers and healthcare safer for our patients.

What's your favorite project to date at Epic?

Without a doubt, my favorite project is the one I'm working on right now. But it is top-secret, and I can't tell you much about it other than that it's pretty cool.

What are you passionate about?

I like order, integrity, and the idea that you are what you do. I believe that if there is good you can do, you should do it.
